Nearly got to see Finding Marina in the Botanic Gardens for Mum’s birthday but unfortunately it absolutely tipped down so it was cancelled (the show, not mum’s birthday!) We still had a very nice meal at the Olive Branch in Broughton Street anyway and then ended up back at ours…

He’s moved on from the GYBRFE of previous years but Adam Hills has still got it as a bit of a different stand-up comedian. Maybe not as funny as previous years but he knows how to work his audience and has amazing rapport with the crowd in a huge sellout…

Found an extremely useful plugin for wordpress that this blog uses that allows me to post articles by email. If you are a fellow wordpress user than I would suggest Postie as it adds hugely to the very simple wordpress “post by email” functionality. Blm
