Emergency at the flat last night when the electric shower stopped working. Pain in the butt, but these things happen.
After an hour or so testing water pressure and that power was getting to the shower itself I gave up and went and bought a new one from B+Q. Started fitting it only to discover I needed a 15mm compression fitting to join it to the pipe (not included) so back to B+Q 2 minutes before closing.
All fitted and wired up so the tenant can now have a proper wash!
Old one was only in for a year or so, was cheap but expect it to last a wee bit longer than that.
