Having no internet at home on Friday and Saturday was odd. We are so used to just being able to check email, backgammon games, weather website, etc…
We had a fault on our BT line (we are on ADSL) that meant Lorraine’s phone wasn’t working and we had no internet at all! It got fixed today though, when I say fixed it is currently at 250kbps, which is faster than dialup – by about 5 times, but we are used to it being at 3000kbps and above so it seems soooooo slowwwwwww.
Apparently it will tune itself up a notch or too over the next few days as the servers realise the dodgy line has cleared itself up.
Wish we could get cable….
