Well when I say jet set, we did go in a (qu)Easyjet down to Luton on Saturday and back on Sunday…
Off to meet a couple of friends Peter and Mark down in a hotel Mark manages in Harpenden called the Harpenden House Hotel.
Great hotel in expensive ‘burd of London, lots of 4x4s and the like littering the streets. A drive in to the centre of London on the Sunday took us past lots of sights, followed by a walk along the South Bank and a brief saunter through the Tate Modern. (Pictures coming soon)
Peter and Mark are setting up their own B+B in France from August next year- I’ll post a link when I get it from the brochure at home – so book now to avoid disappointment!
We were pretty tired when we got back – although flights and everything were on time. Pussycats had missed us so much that Sam slept on me while I had 40 winks on the sofa. (He is not normally a lap cat at all!)
