He’s moved on from the GYBRFE of previous years but Adam Hills has still got it as a bit of a different stand-up comedian. Maybe not as funny as previous years but he knows how to work his audience and has amazing rapport with the crowd in a huge sellout auditorium.
His shows are a bit like Michael Moore films, he’s got a reasonable serious point to get across but wants to do it in an amusing way without shoving it down your throat.
This year its fighting against blandness in all walks of life with reference to his recent Godfather-hood (like us!).
Still one of the best stand-ups I’ve see in a long time but maybe just a wee bit off the boil from previous years.
