Well I guess that’s the end of another Christmas – although I’m off work until the 9th January – Yippee! Lorraine and I did Christmas this year so Mum and Lorna came round on Crimbo Eve and we had a jolly time eating and drinking and having a wee time to think of Dad who passed away in July…
Felt quite grown up doing all the Christmas thing at ours. Some visitors on the day too helped to make it special. Played some Trivial Pursuit DVD edition – and lost 🙁 Lots of cool pressies made up for it though.
Special thanks to Lorraine for doing the food – ushering us all out of the kitchen at various stages – it was delicious. Mum helped and I did endless filling and emptying of the dishwasher. Lorna did her own bit by being there and enjoying it all too. Steven arrived on Boxing day and brought some radio controlled battle tanks which were great – hint hint for birthday in Feb ! We (Steven and I) naturally won at Articulate in the evening too.
Need some time to recover and get food back to normal now!
