Feels like it has been a whole week since I’ve updated here – maybe cos it almost has!
Seem to have been really busy but when you ask me what I’ve been doing I’m not entirely sure.
Sunday was an enjoyable day watching Rossi romp home to victory as normal in the motogp.
Monday – can’t remember.
Tuesday – Franz Ferdinand at the bandstand in Princes Street Gardens. The weather stayed warm and clear and we jumped about madly to FF with 5000 others after tapping our feet to the support act Ladytron(Think of a cross between Kraftwerk and Bjork)
Wednesday – Painter/Plasterer did a good job of fixing the lounge ceiling after a leak from the main bathroom. Lorraine had a bath – not that exciting you may think, but when I heard dripping from the kitchen I feared the worst! Not so bad this time though, the fancy pop-up plug in the bath had sprung a leak now! Small bit of damage in the kitchen – looks like another job for the Painter/Plastere dude. Screwfix are supplying the replacement today with a bit of luck.
Thursday – Geordie lad Chris from our head office in Scarborough is leaving to travel to far flung countries for a year so he organised to be up in Edinburgh for his last week as we are a more sociable bunch and like a few beers. I was on the bike so OJs for me. Needless to say there are a few sore heads and missing folk today…
Friday – Today, nothing much happening yet…
